FL/Y Icon

The FL/Y icon suspension lamp designed by Ferruccio Laviani in 2002 belongs nowadays to the design classics manufactured by Kartell. Laviani seems to take reference to the flowerpot lamp designed by Verner Panton in 1968 although his design is an advancement. The FL/Y icon seems to be more airy, floating just like a colossal soap bubble dazzle in sunlight. The lamp, which is made out of transparant Methacrylat, feathery accents nearly every modern furniture not least because it's available in many different colors.
